What this site collects, which is almost nothing, and what happens to the one thing it does collect.
The tools run in your browser
The readiness check, the timeline calculator, the symmetry index calculator and the out-of-pocket estimator all compute locally in JavaScript. No measurement, date, dollar amount or answer is transmitted anywhere. The readiness check writes your answers into the page address so you can copy that link and send it to your physical therapist; that link is created by your browser and shared only if you share it.
The waitlist
If you submit the waitlist form we store your email address, optionally your first name, optionally the profile you selected, and the page you submitted from. That is the whole record. We do not ask for a surgery date, a diagnosis, or any health information, and we do not want them.
The address is used to tell you when the beta opens. Every message carries a one-click unsubscribe. Ask us to delete the record and it is deleted, no questions, no form: contact@stratinet.fr.
Analytics
Page views are counted with a privacy-preserving analytics tool that sets no cookies and builds no cross-site profile. We see how many people read a page and where they came from. We do not see who you are.
California residents
Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be deleted, ask for it to be corrected, and ask us not to sell or share it. We hold an email address and, if you gave them, a first name and a profile label. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Requests go to contact@stratinet.fr and are answered within 45 days. Exercising these rights changes nothing about your access to this site.
If you are in the EU or the UK
The publisher is a French company, so the GDPR applies to this processing. The legal basis for the waitlist is your consent, given by checking the box. You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and you may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.
Third parties
The site is served from a content platform operated for the publisher, and the waitlist record is stored there. Email is sent through a transactional email provider. Neither is given your data for their own purposes.
Children
Plenty of ACL reconstructions happen in high school athletes, so a lot of readers here are minors. The waitlist is meant for adults, and we do not knowingly keep an email address from a child under 13. If one reaches us, tell us and it is deleted.
