Terms of use

The short version: read it, use the tools, check the sources, and make decisions with a clinician who can examine your knee.

What you are getting

Educational material about anterior cruciate ligament injury, reconstruction and rehabilitation, plus four calculators that run in your browser. It is published by STRATINET SARL, Cannes, France, RCS Cannes 944 837 871.

Clinical decisions

The thresholds described here come from published cohorts of other people. Your graft, your meniscus, your healing and your sport are not in those cohorts. Return-to-play clearance in the United States is a clinical decision made by a physician, usually with a physical therapist and an athletic trainer, and no page or calculator here replaces it or overrides it.

The readiness check exists to make a conversation with those people more concrete, not to have it for them.

Accuracy and corrections

Every figure is tied to a named source on the sources page. Science moves and typos happen. If you find an error, send it to contact@stratinet.fr with the page and the source, and it gets fixed or explained.

The calculators

They do arithmetic on what you type. The out-of-pocket estimator applies your plan's own deductible, coinsurance, out-of-pocket maximum and visit cap in the usual order; it is not a quote, and only your plan and your provider can give you one in writing.

The text, the design and the calculators are ours. Quote a paragraph with a link, that is fine and welcome. Republishing whole pages is not.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law, which is where the publisher is established. Nothing here removes a consumer protection you have where you live.
